  1. When partner leads with the king, I show a
  2. doubleton (by playing my top card) if dummy
  3. started with at least 3 cards in the suit and I
  4. have no honors to protect.

  6. I also play my top card with a doubleton
  7.  a. if dummy has no honors and I have the ace or jack.
  8.  b. if I have the queen and dummy the jack; otherwise,
  9.     I never show a queen doubleton.
  10.  c. if dummy plays the ace and has no other honors.

  12. Note:  When I play a higher than usual card,
  13. partner has no way of knowing whether I am showing
  14. a doubleton or positive attitude.  Either way it
  15. will prompt partner to play the suit a third time.
